Please note: Only Liquid Controls meters produced after March of 2026 feature this digital smartphone scanning capability. If your meter was manufactured before April 2026, it will not have the encoded scanning tag. Scroll down the page until you see the Authenticate button and select it. This action takes you to the authentication app page, which explains how the secure scanning process works. Before scanning, inspect your meter’s product tag. Once you review the visual examples on the screen, click Continue to Next Step.

When prompted by your smartphone browser, allow temporary camera access. The web application requires this permission so the built-in app can perform the optical scan. Your privacy is secure, as this access is only used during the active scanning session.

After you grant access, your phone’s camera turns on automatically. Position your smartphone 4 to 10 inches away from the meter’s physical product tag. Hold your phone steady for up to 20 seconds. This duration gives the intelligent app enough time to read and verify the secure, deeply encoded printing embedded on the authentic LC meter tag.
